Dr. Anthony Clifford and Dr. Leba Sarkis have worked closely together for several years now and share a common pathway of training, having both been Dentists prior their medical training and both subsequently completing Otolaryngology Head and Neck surgical training through the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons.

Dr. Sarkis was initially trained by Dr. Clifford as a registrar at Concord hospital and then subsequently as a Fellow at Chris O’Brien Lifehouse. They worked side by side in the same rooms at Chris O’Brien Lifehouse and performed complex airway, Head and Neck, and thyroid/parathyroid cases together prior to Dr. Clifford retiring.

Dr. Sarkis feels very privileged to have not only been trained by Dr. Clifford, but also to have worked together on a number of cases prior to his retirement and subsequently have been chosen by him to continue caring for his patients. He will continue to look after Dr. Clifford’s patients in the same rooms and clinic on level 2 as Dr. Clifford previously was located. He has access to all their previous notes and operation reports which will aid in continuing to provide them with the highest level of care.
